It's been a while. Anybody seen/played/heard anything about it? Really enjoying my wisemann c.

I you're referring to the Amati rotary F tuba....I played a borrowed one of those some years back when at a horn conference (with a horn group, as the bass part) and thought it played just as well as my MW 182. So I don't automatically put Amati F tubas in the "dog" category at all. This was not a recent one, of course.
