Where I got my most favorite horn.
Two years in, this thing is a beast and pleasure to play. Enjoyed dealing with as well as learning from Tom, and would do repeat business any time my wife says I can get another Tuba and still remain in somewhat decently held regard LOL

On an older version of this forum, there *was* something after six valves. In the changeover I actually got valves removed. My own personal valvectomy.Casca Grossa wrote:Something to shoot for. I've had a few things done to my wiseman. MAW valves, lite stems and bloke buttons, two small leadpipe braces, Velcro strips to keep main slide in place. Pretty satisfied at present. I can always tell I'm happy with a horn when I stop obsessing about similar horns. Now f tubas on the other hand...

Youtube lessons, tutorials and demonstrations are helpful;Tampaworth wrote:I've bought two Tubas from Tom (410 and 900 both lacquer) and very satisfied all around! Tom generously took the time to not only answer some technique issues I was having but even outlined a focused practice strategy to successfully overcome them. He is accomplished, approachable, helpful and in no way a Tuba snob. As an amateur I felt most welcome in all respects. Thanks Tom and Mack Brass Rules!

I was hoping these and the website and media would be updated.
But I'm not arguing with success!!
