More Finale....
Does anybody know how to get MakeMusic on the phone? I have an issue that I don't think is going to be resolved via their online query form.

Re: More Finale....
I don't think it's possible MaryAnn - or at least they don't want you think so. I had a problem with my copy (2014.5) crashing over and over again. I called their 800 number and asked (sales). They told me I had to use their support forum. I posted on their forum, and finally someone from their 'Zendesk' replied and started helping me thru emails. I kept leaving my phone # in those emails, but they never took the hint and called.
If interested, you can read my query and their replies here:

I've never been able to get much response from them. In fact... I won't get any future ugrades unless they plug scanning back in. Their latest version does not.

Re: More Finale....
Yeah, they just offered an upgrade to Finale 25 this past weekend for just $79. Not too many takers I hear. I've not had much luck myself with 'scanning in' music though. Just too many errors. I understand why Make Music is no longer supporting scanning... concerns over copyright issues.Dan Schultz wrote:I've never been able to get much response from them. In fact... Well, I responded to that one and then AFTER I downloaded it found out it won't work with my version of the operating system. Before the download, it said it would. In the Read Me it started at one version later than I have, so I did not bother to install it.

Re: More Finale....
I have the 2012 version that does support scanning. I use that feature a lot to transpose bass clef to treble clef for euphonium parts. Yes, there are errors, but it is faster than typing in the notes one at a time. My operating system version is too old to support Finale 25. I am planning on a new computer (Apple Mac) later this year and I was planning on upgrading to Finale 25 at that time. Without scanning, I might pass on that. With luck, my old version will still work on my new computer.Dan Schultz wrote:I've never been able to get much response from them. In fact... I got the refund after a while, through the online form and a couple of back and forths.
