Help with the sale of a Besson Euphonium

Post by Tubachin »

I'm hoping the smart people of TubeNet can help me value my Besson Euphonium. It is a Model A, Prototype, serial number 121350. The horn is silver plated and in very good shape and am interested in selling the horn.

I would appreciate any guidance you can provide. Thanks...

Evaluating an instrument that according to corn-u-copia is at least 86 years old is difficult without having it in ones hands.

Without a thourough photo documentation it is impossible. The documentation will need totals of front and rear plus lots of details including of all engravings and of the pistons.

Baltimore Brass only give one photo of the instruments they sell, but their style is how the front shot should be. No artfulness, just a plain emulation of the original blueprints.
