Think it would work on a Eb 3+1? I don't stand with my horn, but there is a lot of weight on my left hand when I sit.

On a willson I thread half through the third valve slide. It helps keep it closer to your thumb and less on your knuckles.

Downside is that you don't end up putting the horn all of the way down as often, lije during rests, so you still might get tired.

Overall, I'm keeping it on the horn!

Several of my Eb's are upright valves so they are similar to a 3 plus 1 configuration. I use the Neo harness when standing and it works great. I would think most Eb horns would be too heavy and large for most people to use a hand strap for any length of time. I don't think I'm willing to risk my horn, not to velcro, nor to my arm strength, for an extended playing situation.
