I just got back from the Middle East. In a few places, they still have the "traditional" toilets which is a stall with a hole in the floor. No seat; I assume you just squat over it. Perhaps you could stick a sousa bell or something in there and prop it up; instant toilet.

The poor thing is likely to have been a tenorhorn.
With those oval things, since there have been totally different bore concepts around, the difference narrows down to "Does it have 3 or 4 valves ?"
I guess you´ll have to look at a matching set of instruments by the same manufacturer to tell the difference.
