Please help identify this souzy

Hi there, My name is Cobus and i'm new on the Board.
I found a nice horn, but i'm not sure of the Manufacturer.
The body is exactly Conn-isch build like in the Elkhart Era.
A couple of bracings are missing or not placed at all, Perhaps for Weight reduction.
The 5 digit serialnr. doesn't make any sence to me at all.
I think that the body is an elkhart post 14K model, the bell engraving saying it is from Grand rapids looks like a mismatch to me.

PS. The strange kinked bracing on the first picture is Pan American styled.

Like i said i think the bell and body are not matching.
This is not a typical York config is it,
My buddy's 14 k is like a twin brother to this Horn

I'm no expert on sousaphones, but the braces and ferrules look like Conn, especially the unusual cone-shaped brace feet, between the mouthpipe and 2nd valve loop.

I have tried manipulating the photo of the engraving, but there still are letters that my eyes don’t get. A full transcript would be nice.

With Conn sousaphones I never saw a stay in the loop entering the main circle.

The engraving says:
Hager Musical
instrument co
Grand Rapids
Mich
USA
But again i dont think the bell matches with the body.

For the different bracing.
I've seen this extra support on the Pan american.
