I heard of a John Stevens Euphonium Concerto that Bowman was supposed to premiere. This may or may not be the one you've heard about.

Bowman Premiere

Post by Mike Forbes »

Yes, John Stevens has indeed written a new euphonium concerto that will be premiered by Dr. Brian Bowman on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005 at the University of Wisconsin. The UW-School of Music Orchestra, under the direction of James Smith, will be performing along with Dr. Bowman. I was fortunate to do the type-setting for this concerto and I assure you that you will not be disappointed!! I hope you can all attend the premiere. There are, however, thoughts of Dr. Bowman also performing the work at TUSAB's conference in January as well as possibly at the ITEC-2006 in Denver.

Happy Listening!
