Student opportunities in Japan?

Hello!

I have two students who will be entering the ninth grade in the fall at American Schools near Tokyo. One student plays the tuba and the other the oboe, and they both double on trombone. They were both in the MD All State Band this year as well as the MD Classical Youth Orchestra and they hope to find similar opportunities in Japan. If anyone has any information or suggestions to help these two students find teachers and or opportunities please send them my way!

You may want to contact Mark Preece...he's a tuba player from the Toronto area but I think he taught in Japan for a year and did a bit of playing.

Also suggest contacting Pete Link. He frequents this board and spent considerable time in Japan.
