I actually had a similar experience. I got my first pair of glasses when I was about six or seven years old, and wore them all the way through seventh grade. Then I switched to contacts. After a year of wearing contacts I started high school and got my learner's permit. I didn't like the way that the headlights created a glare on the lenses so I slowly stopped wearing them. About a year later I went to get my eyes checked, and the optometrist said that while I didn't have perfect vision my eyes weren't bad enough to the point where I needed glasses. I went back to the optometrist this fall (about two years later) to find that my vision is now 20/20.
It is extremely rare for vision to improve like this, but apparently it is possible. You should still go have your eyes checked, but mostly likely nothing is wrong. Your eyes may have just changed.

I hate to suggest it, but I had a very similar thing happen to me, and found that it was just the normal age/farsighted thing crossing over with the nearsighted. I, too, was 20/20 for a while, but my eyes kept going the other way, and are still goin'...
Get 'em checked, and don't look a gift horse too closely in the mouth...

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

This article starts with where my (and my wife's) mind went upon first hearing the story.

Rick's response was truly hilarious, but I doubt that he stopped doing THAT. And I doubt it was the Viagra thing, either.
Seriously, I would agree that a visit to a professional is in order.
