Just finished our annual service for deceased members and the daughter of a member who passed last year has offered to donate her father's sousaphone to the band.
He bought it from the band in 1936.He wrote a history of this sousaphone's life when he had it restored.
We are looking forward to seeing the history and hearing the sousaphone play again in the band hall.
Cant carry a tune but I can carry a tuba.

Just got back an Anon. Over The Shoulder all Brass with Brass garland 3 Berliner valve Eb tuba from restoration today. Plays very nice....I’m a happy camper :D :D
