Possibly an oxymoron? - Maybe requiring oxycontin to produce some oxytoxin.

What happened to Johnny Whatshisname? He was mildly amusing on occasion.

I looked, and it inspired in me the idea of a new campaign to make this a better world. I'm calling it "See nothing, Say nothing." If everyone got on board, it could do a little bit to clear off some of the stupid crap our world is carpeted with.

It's really pretty obvious. I saw it, and I saw that it's just stupid and pointless (it's "Nothing"), so: I resolve to mention it to no one.

At best, no one will ever know what they (didn't) miss, but at least they'll never associate it with me. And I won't be in the least responsible for its viral propagation. (For those who haven't seen it, it's an animated thing somewhat like a stick figure, addressing the viewer, wants the viewer to be more accepting of self, claims to love the viewer, etc.) The Colbert version substitutes Donald Trump, and the art is much better, but in the end it doesn't really stand on its own as worth watching.

The original video doesn't strike me as humor. When Colbert presents part of it to his audience, it does get some laughs, but they're not laughing "with" it.

...a "me-too joke" (very much like our preschool children will attempt to *manufacture when they hear adults telling jokes that all the other adults in the room find humorous)...as anyone who doesn't view the original video as humor would worry me.

I marched in the annual St. Patrick's Day parade in St. Paul, MN. It was great fun as it is every year. The weather was nice and for the first time in years, it was on a Saturday. My question is, who found half of all the people in Minnesota and painted them green? The crowd was huge!

The first 40 minutes or so of Full Metal Jacket is both funny AND disturbing.

My favorite combo...

I've always felt that entire picture is disturbing, and not quite so funny.

I started taking lessons and my teacher has said nice things about my sound and playing. He has provided some very helpful guidance and new ideas to advance my playing. The funny part is, I have just received 2 invitations for gigs playing British Baritone.

heh. If it's any consolation, I'm so uncool I didn't even get invited to my 10-year reunion. Then again, I didn't become Biggs, Esq. until 11 years out so maybe I've since qualified for the 20-year.

I unfriended someone I had known all of my life. Childhood neighborhood playmate. Turned out I really didn't know him at all. Buh-bye.
