Well, yeah. What else could it be?TheTuba wrote:Dear Tubenet,
Why is it that 6th graders picking their first instrument and sampling the tuba sound better than me? I guess its because of the silver plating on the big thing.

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Dear TubeNet,
There are three types of musicians.
1. Those that can count and
2. Those that can't count.

(I'm sure not calling anyone. I bought my cellular phone for a digital tuner, not to fooling around playing phone tag when I could just as well send a message.)

Dear TubeNet,
In filling out an application, where it says, "In case of emergency, Notify:" I always put "DOCTOR".

Could be worse ... and probably will be. I see TENS units on craigslist for $30-$40, which could be money down the drain but at least it isn't in the typical health care expense range. Feet need to be on your side.

Re: The "Dear TubeNet" Thread...
Dear tubenet,
I just finished restoring my GG contra single rotor tuba. It took sometime to find enough metal to move the lead pipe, but the garden hose from Mrs. Beewax's garden was all I could find instead. I am enjoying playing the instrument and now need to find some local orchestra's in my area to play with. I can tune to Ab so it should not be a problem playing with any groups.
P.S. I am only looking to play in groups that pay.
Thanks!!

There may be groups that will pay you NOT to play.
Go which ever way the money is best!
