It appears you can take a version of the course for free. It's a multi-faceted and disruptive business strategy.Schlepporello wrote:I understand that some sort of class is included with the price?

I shudder when I think of them (mabye) making tubas well over 100kSchlepporello wrote:OK, I'll admit that I'm not clicking the links to fully research this myself. But in looking at the Loud mouthpiece website, it truly says that their mouthpieces are $10,000! I understand that some sort of class is included with the price? I'm sorry, but that seems a bit much to me to be selling a mouthpiece. Does anyone have any clarification on this?
But, gigbags are only 35k!
I would put a good signature here, but i dont have one, so this will make do.

Maybe it's 10,000 Pesos.
Then they would only be $502.20

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the outer space wild rant the owner went on about some family drama which led to this.

The economy doesn't seem to be the culprit, but there's some mention of "illegal sanctions", apparently including one or more restraining orders. There's also mention of a proposed sale. There appear to be employees, and in principle there might be some hope that the company could come back under employee ownership, but from the tone of that document there seems to be little chance for anything like that.

Tried to read it, still don't get it. None of that is remotely my business.
I thought the best revenge was living well, not trying to sink the ship out of spite and mockery?
But hey, at least the CDs are still only $14.

You guys are in luck. I have a newer LM6, that I'm willing to let go for 5,000 dollars. I'm taking a 5,000 dollar hit here, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to take for my fellow tuba players.

You guys are missing the boat on how to properly bling your mouthpiece.
The engraving adds an extra octave to your range and this one has two cups.. that means it's twice as good.

I don't know if it's better, but it might be more likely to actually happen, in my case anyway! It seems to me that I've seen some pretty fancy work done on a Kelly mouthpiece.

Go read the long dissertation by the owner that was posted as a link earlier in this thread.
Personal issues are colliding with trying to run a family business, resulting in kuku for coco puffs. That document is nuts.
