I am a man and I can change...
If I have to...
I guess.

Of note, the original 1965 play was Walter Matthau and Art Carney. Klugman replaced Matthau about a year into its three year run, so he knew the role well for the TV show. Randall was new to the whole story when he was cast. And in the play and movie is it Felix Ungar, whereas in the TV show it is spelled Unger.

One of my favorite movies, and TV programs, too.
Tony Randall was a great actor, and also a true gentleman. I actually met him twice - once randomly in NYC, and once on a gig where he was the keynote speaker for a charity. We played "Stumbling" by Zez Confrey (anybody who has seen that episode will get the connection) and he got a really big kick out of that!
I decided *after* I bought the tile for a whole-house install, that I am definitely going to move. I lived with an exposed filthy slab for two years trying to make up my stoopid liddle mind what to do. The house looks absolutely fantastically gorgeous now, too. Porcelain tile that looks like marble....and is white. I LIKE white BECAUSE it shows dirt, and I can keep it clean much more easily because I don't have to clean that which is not dirty, and that which is dirty is not that much. I'd upload a picture but when I try it says my picture is not allowed to be that big, and well I just don't care enough to figure out any other way, even though I see great big pictures posted here. Pah.
If you're using a Windows computer, you can shrink the photo using Paint. That's how I get those big pics to fit.

My tuba is now in America, and on its way to me via Greyhound. This is my first time using GPX, so I am doing my best to be patient, trust the system, and ignore the lack of real-time tracking.
I did an 800+ mile R/T drive yesterday to pick up some horns. I can’t believe how much rain fell in Pennsylvania...tough drive, but the mighty Vibe was wonderful in bad weather conditions...
I am recovered from my "job" on Tuesday. As an election judge, I get up at 5 a.m. and am on my feet until 11 p.m. I set up the polls, swear people in, supervise their activities, answer the public's questions (usually the same one several times), keep track of every ballot, feed the workers, deal with the facility staff, manage mandatory paperwork, close the polls, collect everything up and put it all in the proper bags and seal it (just like evidence in a legal case), transport it all to the check in, check it in (signing for everything), and face the inquisition of the county to make sure everything is right and finally am the one they bring to court if any questions come up (yes, they do audit everything). For this, I get $10 an hour and you get a fair an honest election (at least at my poll). They do not "find" ballots at my poll, they are all turned in and accounted for. There are no ballots cast by people who were not physically there and signed in to vote. It is what it should be, the voice of the people. You know, I should check to see who won.... I'll get to that someday.
