Hello Tubenet,
Just wanted to pass this along(maybe should've put this in the Upcoming Events section). Yamaha is sponsoring a Trombone day on Saturday June 18 at their Artists' Services building in NYC. All free stuff, but you have to RSVP. Go here for more info.

I just remember why I wanted to post it here too. Does anyone think that any of the Yamaha York Copies would be at this place? I'm going to be there with my girlfriend and just wanted to know if anyone had any inside info on where the prototypes are currently located and if they have any tubas at all in that building that I could play on while my girlfriend does her thing with trombones. I'm just trying to figure out what to expect besides the little info they give on their site.

Wes,
I was at Yamaha Artist Services in NY last week, the only tuba I saw there was an 822 F. I don't imagine they would have one of the York prototypes later this week. You've probably already seen their contact info:

Best wishes,
