Playing my tuba through the Rainbow Machine

Post by Tubadork »

Hey,
I did a demo/ review of me playing my tuba through the EarthQuaker Devices Rainbow Machine!

They make great stuff, check it out here:

Hope you enjoy my video:

If you enjoyed it, please subscribe to my page and pass the work along.

I’ll be making a video of my setup at some point soon too with some tips about getting starting, so keep an eye out for that.

Thanks,
B

Pretty cool! This sent me down a crazy Youtube path (Scott Devine - Scott's Bass Lesons) last night looking into crazy effects and pathing. I can see how this might couple very nicely with a Boss LS-2 ( Line splitter) before it, and then using an octaver on one channel, and this effect on the other. Youd get a lot of noise, and a mixer(LS2) to put into context with a nice bass voice. Could be really effective.

I’ve been toying with the idea of a line splitter.
If you want crazy pedals, this one is on the way from Sweden:

I also did a demo review of the EarthQuaker Devices Data Corrupter too:

Line splitter was the first thing I bought, but I think the way Devine uses it is VERY smart.
