Re: A thread for bad ideas...
Sorry for the slow response, but i woulda figured gloves would be antithetical to whole serpent handling experience.
Sightreading music, or playing a different instrument than expected in performance are probably a bad ideas. But it is exciting, especialy if it almost goes well. Well, I got varying degrees of that in my holiday playing. The least of which was "we're missing trombones, so play an octave up... where it makes sense." Well... I can almost think fast enough to jump that octave... alas, that meant i dropped the deciding if it made sense or not on the fly...
It's not a serpent, but seeing the listing for George, i wonder if i might beg an introduction...

Every blues man knows his flat round bass guitar strings require fried chicken grease for proper break in. Why not serpent??

Re: A thread for bad ideas...
Mighty fine antithetical ya got there!
Makes me reminisce on my colledge weekend team work outs where we played "space invaders" sitting down in each seat, standing up and moving over to the next, repeat adnauseum while someone tossed tennis balls our way. If they hit us, we were out. Supposed to work our sitting down muscles i think. If only there were other ways to make exercises fun...

Feeding the cats a bowl of chill was a bad idea (although they liked it.)

I don't know....
Chilli made for cats could be a thing...
Enter some cool cat chilli in the next chilli competition and see how it does.

When your kids annoy the hell out of you by bringing their dog with them when they come for a visit, slip the dog some ex·lax just before they load up to head home.

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I approve of pigs speaking Latin.bloke wrote:Isn't "taboo" just the pig-latin version of "tuba" ?
"quadrupes graditur bona malis duobus cruribus."
(courtesy of google translate. Is that a bad idea to rely upon the interwebs for linguistic expertise?)
On the other hand, i think there is a dearth of tubas ergonimically designed for farm animal use, not just the pig.

My workplace is having a company-wife chili cook off for all employees lunch today from 12-1.
The bathrooms are closed from 2-3 today for already scheduled plumbing maintenance.
