(SOLD) Lacquer VMI (B&S) 3302 4/4 5 Valve BB-flat Tuba w/gig bag $4000+shipping. This instrument is not mine. I'm helping a non-TubeNet using friend sell it.
General Information
Brand: VMI
Model: 3302
Size: 4/4
Finish: Lacquered Yellow Brass
Valves: 4 piston, 1 rotary
Location: Rock Hill, SC
Ben has owned this instrument for several years. He is not the first owner. The valves and slides work well. Intonation is pretty point and shoot. There are a few small dings in the bell and bottom bow as well as some lacquer wear on the bottom bow. I've played with Ben in a number of gigs while he has been using this instrument, it seems to play pretty big and he sounds great on it. He is selling this so he can downsize to a smaller tuba.
The instrument has been sold. Thanks!

This actually looks pretty compact for a five-valve. It is wrapped tightly and the stack is not thick. Neat package!!
