Howdy fellow tubenetters,
Today I got to play a Jupiter 1110 BBb tuba. I must say I was very impressed with the instrument. NOw I only played it very briefly in the repair shop after it was repaired. I did not repair it.
It had a very nice full tone, good intonation and good response in the low and high registers.
This horn was never really on my radar, since I always liked the King 2341 for a good HS level BBb, but I will now add this to the list.

Re: Jupiter 1110
also while looking on the Jupiter website I see that they also make a 3+1 compensating Eb tuba with a 15" bell.
Has anyone ever played one of these?
