I am selling my 3 year old Mack Brass 410 CC in silver. I have never been a rotor person and have decided to go back to a piston tuba. This horn sounds and plays like a miraphone. It has a very rich dark tone and projects very well. The intonation is probably better than any high end horn I have played. I don’t need to adjust much for tuning, however I did get my first valve slide trombone smooth for pulling just because. In fact, all of the slides pull without effort. One of my favorite things about this horn is the upper register, which is powerful and easy to play. There is a couple of places with some plating wear, as well as a couple of dings hidden on the back of the horn, and a couple of almost unnoticeable pings on the bell. The horn comes with its original case. I am asking $1,650 plus shipping. I at located in Longview, TX 75604. Greyhound shipping works well with tubas and isn’t too expensive. The following link includes pics and 3 videos. You may need to give the videos a second to load. Text 409-594-7846 for fastest response.
