Sounds like a lot of fun and a great time to reconnect. Unfortunately, a great many of the friends from those days with whom I would happily do this have passed on. I was thinking of my best friend at Kentucky, a phenomenal tuba player that I thought played rings around me, who died about 15 years ago of a lung disorder. I remembered my frustration that he played so much better than I, but I also realize that I'm still playing tuba, and he's not (unless he has a gig in Heaven.) Glad you and your friend are still around and healthy to enjoy this.
