Yamaha 641 For Sale
I post this about every 6 months or so. I have a Yamaha 641 for sale. This is one of the best examples of the instrument I have ever played. It has heavyweight valve caps, a couple of small dents, some scratches and one fairly good sized dent on the bow opposite the valves that was incured in shipping when I bought it. It has a good scale and a GREAT low Ab, usually a very bad note on this instrument. Has been played professionally and is now sitting around looking for a new home. It comes with the original hard case, a like-new Reunion Blues Black Cordura Gig Bag, a Humes and Berg Practice mute and the first 2 installments of the Gordon Cherry excerpts cd's. I no longer play and would like to get the horn in someones hands who would play it and enjoy it. $3500. obo. Pics available. E-mail me at chuckjackson1@cox.net. TIA.

We want the BUMP, we want the BUMP
OK, I know it should be "We want the funk, we want the funk" courtesy of Parliment, but let's face it, some of these "bumps" are getting old. So, how about it, I'm paying shipping, throwing in the case and the gig bag, a practice mute, and a BERP(the old metal one not the new plastic POS, NO IT'S NOT FOR SALE BY ITSELF), accepting public school P.O.'s and IT'S A DAMN GOOD HORN. C'mon, it's collecting dust in my studio. Great horn, great stuff with it, and a GREAT PRICE.

Come on, it's a great deal. Fielding best offers over 3K. It is far better condition than those for sale at a couple of major vendors, comes with a case, a like-new gig bag, Humes and Berg Practice Mute, the first two Cherry Orchestral excerpt cd's and a metal and plastic BERP. I'll pay for shipping. Pictures available. Oh yeah, here is the obligatory BUMP

The wheels rolling over people on the sidewalk go BUMP BUMP BUMP
This horn is collecting dust and needs a good home and I could use a newer car. Here's the deal. I have a 93 Nissan P/U with 98K miles on it(I bought it in 1994 with 18K miles on it), newer tires, great air, a good stereo, 27 MPG, and a servicable cap on it for sale for $2500. You fly to Vegas, I pick you up, you buy both for $5500 and you get a truck to drive home in. Why are you waiting?

Chuck,
If I were looking for a BBb Yamaha 641, I'd buy yours. Its not often a real player, such as yourself has one of these. Therefore, I bet its one of the finest examples of a YBB641. What's that... you even had heavy rotor caps installed... what a bargain!

Bargains galore, Doug, that's me. I actually liked the horn and used quite often, nice fat sound and really good pitch. Everything else sold, this is the last one. Yep, I am permanantly retired from tooting, but I still love all of you. I hope someone does buy it, it needs a good home. Hope all is well. I ran across my book of records I kept on students from those days, you did nice work and you seem to be continuing the process. Cheers.

Well, I didn't get married and mine isn't that inexpensive, but it's got great side dishes with it. I promise this is my last BUMP
Truck and tuba still for sale. I know, I know, it's getting old, but the horn is collecting dust and needs someone to toot on it. See above posts for the particulars.

Just when you thought it was safe to forget, I'm back. If you are looking for a great horn at a great price, CHOOSE MINE BECAUSE IT'S CHEAPER AND HAS MORE STUFF AND I PAY SHIPPING AND I'M A GOOD GUY AND ALL THAT. Thanks. I am on vacation, but answering e-mails, much to my wifes discontent.

That reminds me of the Three Stooges episode where they get jobs taking the census. Curley asks a man, "Are you married or happy?"Chuck Jackson wrote:Chuck"It WAS my duty as a married man to discourage him from marriage, but he will find out on his own....oop's, Why nothing honey, just chatting with the guys.....gotta go"Jackson
