[youtube][/youtube]I purchased a Wessex Luzern about a month ago to use for quintet and small ceremonial band jobs. The Wessex Luzern is a very nice, versatile, 5-valve BBb tuba. The valves are great. Heavy duty Wyvern engraved paddles, Stainless steel mini-balls and linkages. Wessex has made some really good improvements to the older JinBao 210 tubas. This tuba is definitely a "professional" level tuba. The smaller 4/4+ or 5/4- design along with the added benefit of the 5th valve makes this tuba extremely versatile. If you are looking for a great value on a good "all-purpose" BBb tuba, I highly recommend the Wessex Luzern. Why am I selling? After playing this tuba for a month, I decided that I just like using "BATs", even when it just doesn't seem to make sense...
This tuba comes with a case very nice MTS style hard case with wheels, and a Wessex Chief mouthpiece. The tuba is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition. Shipping is at the Buyers expense and risk. I would prefer the buyer to pick-up the tuba or I am willing to meet the buyer within a 150 mile radius of Clarksville, TN.
