WTB 4 CONN HELLEBERGS
Hi everyone, I teach at a drum corps and we are looking to buy some Conn Hellebergs for our tuba section. Just the standard ones. Not the 7b, preferably okay condition. I’m looking to pay under $30 for each. But am willing to negotiate a little bit. If you have one you don’t use anymore please think about helping us out. Thanks so much!

You should contact Kanstul.
On my visit last week, they had several Hellebergs left.

Dan, if you haven't already, give Baltimore Brass a call- they almost always have a bunch of used tuba mouthpieces available.

Here's a second in support of the Kellybergs.bloke wrote:If in really nice shape...and shipping included...put me second on the list to receive some at that price !![]()
I'm pretty sure that even the "FAXX" Helleberg 120 mouthpieces (Bach-shaped exterior) cost me up in the mid-$4X.XX range, wholesale.
' pretty sure the acrylic "Kellyberg" ones cost me nearly $30 ea. - if I buy a batch of them - wholesale.
...and I know of no other 120 economically-priced COPIES that exist.![]()
You're probably spending your own money and donating, which is commendable...
Here are FOUR gold-sparkly acrylic 120 copies:

From a galloping horse (or bleachers) they resemble gold-plated.
They're $34 each + shipping. (I'd wager the seller would cut you a deal for all four - particular as they are feather-weight, and...

I was playing a $300 Monette and did A-B tests with Monette-Kellyberg, my listener was the trombonist in the Dallas Opera. He heard virtually no difference except for projection from low G down to pedal C.
If I was playing with a major orchestra, I would NEVER play a plastic mouthpiece. Marching on the field, who could hear the difference?
A professor of tuba at a major university near me used to gift the tuba players in a local HS band Kellybergs in school colors every year. The band won consistent superior ratings and contended for All-State several times. In Texas, that's a high quality band program.
Kellybergs!
