Does anyone know anything about this brand? I have a three valve non compensating Eb tuba, brand name ‘Herold’, probably around 35-40 years... Seems to be no info anywhere.
Will try to upload picture...

Re: Herold tuba?
Thank you...there is a tenor horn pictured here, which looks a bit like the tuba I got in certain details. It doesn’t seem to be dated, however. I have tried to upload a picture, but I’m not tech-savvy enough so far...humBell wrote:https://horn-u-copia.net/Reference/display.php

Re: Herold tuba?
The New Langwill lists two "Herold"s related to brass instruments (one a dealer, the other a maker). Those would both seem to be mid-1800s to early 1900s.
You need to select "Herold" from the drop-down menu on the left of the screen, but I'll save you the trouble.
It returns only "There were several Herolds, two of which were recorded as brass makers. Conrad Gustav of Klingenthal (1793-1900) and Fritz of Aschaffenburg (1854-?)."
The only image on there that I can find are a flugelhorn from 1873:

and an undated tenorhorn:

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
