I was watching the Fourth celebration from the Capitol last night where the National Symphony was playing. What a wonderful group! I Googled the tuba player, Stephen Dumaine, and found several pictures of his horn, but cannot read the brand name. It appears to have a caricature of a man playing a tuba on it. Anyone know what Make and model horn he plays?

I caught 1812 and cranked the volume way up on my TV. I could clearly hear every note he played.
Big, fat, and clear - those three often don’t go together, but I still can hear his sound in my head. A job well done!
