I am getting bombarded with ads for women’s clothing while scrolling through tubenet. I bet those will be the least successful ads ever purchased.

Does your friend have a place to plug it in?

I've heard of an "Australian Touch" prototype model, but it didn't catch on- the valves were hard to reach because they were "down under".........

Last Saturday we went to Oktoberfest in Frederick, MD.

The Heimat Echo German Band performed. Their mic’d helicon sounded terrific!!

I went to that damn event for like 10 years, and never saw any kind of tuba.

Best time I had there was when I was like 22 or 23. We were hanging out by the sausage stand around closing time, and the guy working there said to us (our group of about 6 drunk young guys), "hey, you want the extra sausages?" We said yeah, sure...

He gave us a full tray of about 25 sausages, and a whole bag of rolls. Jackpot!

Yesterday I drove from Portsmouth to Petersburg, VA.

I’m 57 years old and that was the first time I’ve seen a cotton crop.

Oh, when them cotton bolls get rotten
You can't pick very much cotton
In them old cotton fields back home...

Edelweiss German Band played at the Oktoberfest in Berlin MD.

They did a “no beer on Sunday” song that was great!!

No traditional German beer though.

One lane of the West bound span of the Bay Bridge has been closed.

The three hour drive took nearly 5.

The Oktoberfests here are underwritten by local and regional brewers. Not bad, just not my bag.

The one in Frederick has the best beer but there is a $10 cover.

Still worth it, as it also has the best music!! :tuba:

Speaking of usquebaughs, Berlin, MD had Fireball shots.

Would it kill just to have one day of cold Jagermeister or Rumple Mintz??
