As formerly both a prosecutor and public defender handling cases that went over the edge in this regard, I find the ad quite disturbing.

Other than the Ivory Tower colleagues and close family members of said professors, I don't imagine that too many people would fail to make a distinction between the two.

Why is more "classical" music being composed, anyway? There are puh-lenty of legitimate and worthy classical works already that go unplayed and unheard.
