Great post. Very informative and fascinating photos. Thanks. What's it like to play a large horn like that? Looks as if it might be an air hog. Gasp. Puff, puff. Not for the faint of heart. What mouthpiece are you using?

I wish I could get along better with Jumbo horns. But, I'm a trombone player, so that's kinda natural. I feel like the horn isn't in synch with me, whereas when I play an Eb, I feel far more in control.

This is why I have a Conn 1923 silver Eb Raincatcher. The Jumbo's are way cool, but my back appreciates the Eb....
