Cleaning a ProTec bag

Any hints or tips on cleaning the outside of a ProTec gig bag.

Mine is getting very grimmy as a result dirty floors, messy car trunks and, as of last night, the gritty surface of a baseball diamond.

My humes and bergs tuxedo bag is getting dirty too. Also on the inside there is another type of fabric near the valve section and its ripping causing valves to get caught in the little pocket it formed.....I tryed sewing it but quickly came undone......any ideas?

Well I have rotory valves....would it still work?
