Sounds like you had fun at least! The Cimbasso definitely would get much closer to that 60s-70s bass trombone sound that we all love. Those lovely edgy low notes that almost scream "King Duo gravis" when I hear them.

Pretty sure that guy was more interested in posting a picture of the cimbasso than of a grumpy tuba-cimbassoist.bloke wrote:facial expression in the picture...?? not grumpy...just "neutral".
