York model 33 BBb tuba... Four top-action pistons. The serial number dates it from the 1914 era. This was a low pitch horn (was about 30 cents flat across the scale) but I've changed a loop just before the main slide to bring it into modern A=440 pitch with the main slide out about 1". I've also changed the mouthpiece receiver to a modern King so it will accept both standard and Euro-shank mouthpieces. Only one very small patch on the #1 circuit. No cracks or other problems normally associated with a horn of this vintage. I took the entire main bugle apart. There are no dents or leaks. Raw brass. No case. $2,600.
Marzan euphonium also known as a Willson 2975 but with the main tuning slide on top in the Marzan signature style... For those not familiar with these horns... they have four front-action pistons, are fully compensating, and were made by Willson in the late 60's and early 70's. I enjoy playing this horn and the only reason I have for selling is is that I bought another one a couple of months ago. The one I'm selling is actually the better of the two. Bright silver is very close to 100% and the original 'boutique' wheeled case is included. $3,200.
1960 Conn 20K sousaphone in satin silver.... Satin silver and in very good condition with very few minor dings. I played this horn for a Labor Day celebration and it handles very well. Great valves and very good compression. Complete with upper mouthpipe and bits. No case. $1,750. SOLD. Thanks!
Miraphone 186 serial #3984 (mid-60's)... All dents have been removed. New nickel-silver bow guards. The bell has been replaced by a new 186 'clone' bell. This is a very good player and has great compression. The original plywood case is included. The case is usable but not pretty. Raw brass. $2,750.
