Polka Tuba

Gee, I dialed up this video hoping to hear authentic Polish tuba. https://youtu.be/_MqfMY6uzcY" target="_blank
Well, forget the tuba. I like the scenery.

There are never any button twirling dancing girls at the polka fests I go to... :(

That's because we don't live in Poland.

Hot it really is! The last and only trip I took to south Texas was in July 2004. I had a beautiful MW 2145 CC I delivered to a young man whose family lived near Austin. The kid was going off to Denton to major in music and his family was buying the tuba for him. His father offered to meet up with me in Johnson City so that I could avoid the annoying traffic in Austin. I think the average daytime temperature I experienced while driving in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona was about 106 degrees for the round trip. When I got back to Berkeley it was foggy and approximately 59 degrees. The part of my Texas trip I enjoyed most was the gorgeous but barren scenery along I-10 and the offshoot highway going towards Austin. By the way, Texas really keeps its highways clean----I don't think I saw a single scrap of debris along the roadways (other than carrion), much in contrast to parts of NM, AZ, and CA.
