Re: On the use of apostrophe's
Hi Mary Ann,
I don't think the use of an apostrophe in your post's title is necessary. The plural of apostrophe is apostrophes.
Here's a helpful link which is short.

Re: On apostrophe's use
Oh English language! Thou art so fickle in thy nature and treatment of words' meaning and punctuations abuse.noun: apostrophe; plural noun: apostrophes
an exclamatory passage in a speech or poem addressed to a person (typically one who is dead or absent) or thing (typically one that is personified).
Oh, sorry. Pass the pot. Gotta put your elbows into it.
Now that's stirring.
(Whaddya think of that's stirring?)
Thanks for playing!

If you haven't already, read "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" by Lynne Truss. I thought it was hilarious, frustrating, and like fingernails on a chalkboard.
One of my favorite book's.

Apostrophe? It's a word's greatest feature when used properly, and its downfall when used improperly.

Pot successfully stirred. Ha.
Many pot's stirred with multiple spoon's.
Now, how about possessive before a gerund? That one is a bit more obscure.
Your looking at this silly post is an example.
