Staggered Breathing

In this video, two of the trumpet players use staggered breathing in a unison passage of a big Wagnerian theme. That way, they seamlessly kept things really gassed up. (Vienna Phil with Sir Georg "never miss a beat" Solti who appears to be working out in the gym.)

Unfortunately for orchestral tubists, there's no one to stagger-breathe with, unless it's something a big bass trombone can cover for a snatch breath.

Any one here on the board run across a passage where sustaining the line was impossible without sneaking a breath or leaving out a note or two?
