Besson 995 vs Yamaha YCB-822

How does the Besson 995 compare to the Yamaha 822 CC? They both have basically the same measurements and similar wraps but no one has compared these horns that I have seen.

Having played on both (not for an extended length of time) I prefer the 995, I was not a fan of the YCB 822, I prefer the york style horns. Just my opinion.

Both are well made. I like the Besson better, because it has a more interesting sound.

It has been quite a few years since I played both horns, but I concur with the above: of the two examples I played back then, the Besson had a more colorful tone with better intonation, while the Yamaha was simply a big "woof."
