B&S tuba felt covers

Post by EMC »

When you buy a new tuba at least from Melton Meinl weston/B&S you get a götz supersac and this felt "sock" tuba cover, anyone know or aware if they sell these felt covers separately somewhere ? Or do you think my best bet would be to try to just call Buffet and take my chances with that?

Surely someone has one of these "socks" stuffed in a closet somewhere.

They're cool...but I'm too clumsy/too impatient to remove/replace something like that every time I deal with one of my tubas and its case.
I still have the cover for my JP! Will get the significant other to make me a new one when the original wears out (the cover, not the SO). Excellent protection for the odd scratch when handling the instrument in and out of the gig bag.

I agree they can be pretty annoying to deal with when youre taking a tuba in and out everyday, which is probably why Ive lost the one that came with my tuono, but recently ive been wanting one just to put my horn in while it sits/lays in my room or just something to lay a horn on if i happen to be outside on the concrete/asphalt and what not

Maybe I can find a place that sells a "santa sack" that probably would serve the same purpose

They only sell 50 gallon bottles here...
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
