Melton Meinl Weston Showroom in NYC

Post by Renodoc »

I'm looking at a trip to NYC and was pondering a trip to the Melton/Meinl Weston Showroom in NYC to "just look" at some tubas, especially the HoJo gravity model (or that's what I'm telling my wife ;) ) Have people been to the showroom? Do they have most of their models there to look at/play? Is it worth a trip?

Thanks for any advice.

You can just call the showroom floor.

The salesperson that I spoke with 3 or 4 years ago was very helpful, although (unsurprisingly) she didn't really know anything about the B&S or MW side of the business.

She eventually gave me a list of the handful of instruments that they had on hand.

I think it was like URSUS, GR55, rotary PT6, etc.

Good luck with it.

Thanks. Calling ahead makes a lot of sense.
