Has anyone ever seen one of those?

I don't have much details about it, just know that its 123 on Left hand, and 654 on right.

Iirc, Sam Gnagey used to have one of these and post on tubenet about it. Maybe he still has it?

Not exactly.

It looks to me to be (as with some other Vienna-set-up tubas) a special version of a manufacturer's standard model...in this case, a model 80.

Nice to know. I had no idea which model it could be. If I get to buy it (I'm still negotiating it with the seller), I'll try to find out it's manufacturing year...

A Miraphone 180F--I owned one with a dual 5th valve and miss that horn a bit.

Knowing a manufacturing year, is interesting, but I've never bought a used instrument (and I've only rarely bought new ones and a crazy-long list of used ones) knowing the year of it's manufacture...and I've never grabbed my phone to look the year up - prior to a purchase.

Ohh, of course! Knowing the instrument has a good intonation, the year won't affect the purchase (or not) of the tuba...
