NY Phil Mahler 2, November 1963

Did anyone else watch this? The NYPO said it was the first rebroadcast since the event. 2 days after the Kennedy assassination, Bernstein conducted Mahler 2 with the NYPO. I watched the replay, and it was phenomenal (even with crappy audio). What a Performance!

Who is the tuba player? Great , no messing about brass playing BTW.

I think it's cool that it was broadcast on the CBS television network.

My, but haven't times changed.
