I agree, sort of. I wasn't particularly looking forward to seeing this movie, again based on reviews and what can only be described as a dismal trailer. It was much better than anticipated. I wouldn't put it anywhere near the level of the first Spiderman, though. Hopefully this weekend I'll FINALLY get to see Batman Begins (I know, I know...the people I was with this weekend had already seen it). If not that, definitely Cinderella Man (about a genuine hometown hero :D )

Fantastic Four was OK.

As good as the X-Men flicks (the X-men have "cooler" powers), but at times the film seems like the director might have rushed production, or something.

The biggest bias I had was seeing Batman Begins. I though Spiderman was a homerun (finally) for this genre, but Batman Begins (IMO) was a grand slam.

Now, I am not saying that Fantastic Four was a total disappointment. To use the analogy above, more like a double.

I'd like to know why the Punisher got panned so badly. Did no one see Dolph Lundgren in the first attemt? The second punisher was at least watchable!!!

Maybe cooler than most of the Fantastic Four...but honestly...what superhero has "cooler" powers than Johnny Storm, the Human Torch???

Anyone who is a fan of the Batman Comics....Batman Begins is the best Batman film by far in that it stayed truer to the comic book characters than any of the previous 4.
