I saw this listing:

Obviously may go for considerably more than the current bid, but I was curious how difficult it would be to source a 4th valve to get this horn in playing condition. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

First valve also looks to be stuck in down position. I agree that it is worth a couple questions before doing anything. Thanks for the insight.

Re: Yamaha 4th valve
OOF. But if you get a good price for it, it could be worth it. They are pretty decent tubas, and very popular for the "good" tuba players in region and all state bands to be playing in HS.
I would wager that the seller does not really know much about tubas, which is why they say the valve is missing. Hopefully the 1st and 4th valves are just frozen with crud.
