I ordered a USB microphone (AT2020+) about 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything regarding my order. I emailed a week ago and still no reply. Should I be worried? More luck with calling? Are they closed? Anyone have any insider info?
Thanks!

Re: recent Sweetwater orders
I've bought a bunch of stuff from them over the last month, and just got a delivery yesterday. Seems to be working well for me. Maybe call your sales engineer?

I bought a Casio keyboard from them 3 weeks ago. My only complaint is that I have no idea how to play the thing. It doesn't have a mouthpiece.

Yeah, just like everything else with the virus, give it another month. I have several items on backorder, from various merchants, all the way from locally to internationally.

Hey Wes,
From what I can tell, microphones *everywhere* are in short supply. I looked on Sweetwater's website, and that particular mic (along with a few I've had my eye on) is backordered. If you decide to call them shoot me a message; I know someone who has a contact with them.

Re: recent Sweetwater orders
Sam Ash Music Stores have temporarily suspended new special orders because many of its suppliers are scrambling, with reduced personnel, to get the flow of inventory back to pre-COVID norms.
Sweetwater is probably experiencing much of the same challenging conditions.

Re: recent Sweetwater orders
Last week, I ordered a replacement lapel mic for a Shure wireless system from Sweetwater, and had it two days later.Wes Krygsman wrote:I ordered a USB microphone (AT2020+) about 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything regarding my order. I suspect the delay is product-related, not Sweetwater-related. But phones calls often get an immediate answer.
