WTB Rotary horn
Looking for a rotary c tuba, I absolutely love my tuono but I’m in need of something smaller since I’m mostly playing chamber and not orchestra or sinfónica band music.

Re: WTB Rotary pt6
Those instruments are pretty much the same size. Different wrap.

Re: WTB Rotary pt6
The PT6 is considered a 4/4+ or 5/4 tuba. It is similar in size to your Tuono, considered a 5/4 tuba. IMO, you aren't gaining anything; if anything, you would be getting a tuba with an even broader tone, as the PT-6 is used by some players in orchestra. If you want a rotary, but want to stay with BBb, there are several out there to choose from, all the way from a "standard" 4/4 Miraphone 186 to several smaller tubas by other manufacturers. I use my 186 for everything from quintet to symphonic concert bands. Were you by chance thinking of a PT-3 or PT-4 instead?Salazarsam33 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 5:55 pm Looking for a rotary pt6, I absolutely love my tuono but I’m in need of something smaller since I’m mostly playing chamber and not orchestra or sinfónica band music.
