FS:Great big book of tuba excerpts

I have a extra set of the great big book of tuba excerpts that was sold years ago in 4 volumes. These aren’t available to be bought anymore. Asking $85 plus shipping.

Are these the Torchinsky excerpt books?

The fact that you resort to bringing this on a public forum is simply incredible to me. I’ve been extremely civilized towards you about the matter. You sent emails and even a list of what you were missing and I told you I will refund the difference of the amount you agreed to purchase everything which is extremely fair. You never responded to me. Now you’re venting about here. Talk about the emails where you say things like I’m I am compelled by my conscience to request a full refund of XXX from you.” Do you think it’s fair to keep some of the product and get a full refund? We are both at a loss here and it’s unfortunate.

There’s no need to defame and say things like buyers beware. I’m definitely honest, fair and civil and don’t have issues like the one presented today. Things happen beyond our control sometimes.

I have tried to be reasonable, yet he fails to acknowledge that he lost $300 worth of my property.

Mr. Denzel Richard stated to me that he will only refund $100.

It is a shame that we have people doing this from within our ranks.
Buyer Beware Always!
And yet he still continue to email me insulting me. Kinda a shame people like this are in the “ranks”

I don't know what happened with the books, nor is it really my business...

I did want to share that I sold a tuba to Denzel a few years ago. He flew up here to pick it up, and I met him at the airport to do the deal. OMG, what a great guy! Kind, funny, respectful -- just everything good. Also very, very tall. That PT-6 did NOT look like a very big tuba when he held it!

Sorry to hear this went as it did, whatever happened. Maybe get on the phone with each other and talk it out in real time. Email, message boards, etc... Not the way to handle this stuff. Talk it out live and in real time.

I’m with Bort on this one about the character of this person. I bought a tuba from the seller 6 months ago and not only was he friendly and kind but he knew my circumstances financially and gave me a nice deal on a great tuba. This sounds like a accident that was beyond the seller or buyers control.

Buyer I want to point out it’s extremely unprofessional and disrespectful in you bashing this man over something like this. I saw your post you deleted to cover yourself. Aren’t you a tuba professor at a college?

Looks like he also dropped a link to this thread in another thread from the same buyer. Posted the link and said "See my response here", referencing the response which he then deleted because it was uncalled for. Odd.

Locking this thread and hope it has been resolved. I hope the two individuals here can/have come to a compromise.
