Conn 34J 6/4, 4-valve top-action BBb tuba, w/ recording bell.

The tuba is located in Springfield, MA

Serial No. 409253

One tuning bit included

No mouthpiece, no case

Built 1952 in Elkhart, IN

Bore: 0.755 in. measured at the 2nd valve

See the photos. Over-all condition of the tuba is very good, no major dents or wrinkles. All valves have good compression, springs and felts are in good condition. Tuning slides move freely, corks are in good condition, no leaks. The horn was chem cleaned when purchased about 2 years ago, has been played only sparingly since.

The tuning slides’ lacquer shows a certain amount of cosmetic wear.
