Mouthpiece recommendation for EEb Tuba
If any of you play an EEb Tuba, like the Besson 983 as your only instrument, what mouthpiece do you use when playing in large ensembles with BAT CC tubas?

Re: Mouthpiece recommendation for EEb Tuba
I have had the privilege of borrowing a Besson 983 from one of the DMA euphonium students at Michigan State over the last few months to play in a brass band of which we are both members. I really like the way the Denis Wick 3l heritage plays in the 983, and I think that it puts out plenty of sound with this setup. You may try a 2l or 1l to give it a little more girth in the low register but I don’t find that necessary.

I've been using a Warburton T.G. 4, the original "The Grail" model.
