I am the third owner of this horn. I used this horn through college for solos, duets, quarters, orchestra, and wind ensemble. This is an excellent all around horn for college students and pros.

I too know this horn well as friends to both of these gentlemen. I too can attest that this is the BEST pt606 I have ever played having played at least 6 at various conferences and stores and even my previous tuba 'fessor. Hands down. Would be buying this if I weren't more interested in rotors.
Also this is a VERY large 4/4 tuba (if you really want to go by that system) especially comparing to an eastman 632 or 186... More comparable to an Ursus.
If you have ever been interested in this model PLEASE consider it!
