Hello tuba community,
I am selling my completely handmade 5 valve Symphonie Modell F tuba (horn only). It is in fantastic condition including the one piece bell with the very sought after bell garland. It features a truly graduated bore with 5 different bores through the 5 valves.
There are no signs of repair anywhere on the horn. I bought it in Germany last year from an older gentleman who had not played tuba much in the past couple decades. This is made obvious by how great the compression is for an instrument of its age or any age for that matter.
It has the legendary B&S/WeltKlang Symphonie sound that makes these tubas very popular among top players.
Will ship at buyer's risk. I prefer not to ship but you are welcome to come to Houston to try/buy. I’ll put you up, cook you dinner, and beer’s on me!
